Everything started in 2016 when a guitarist disappeared from the previous project and the rest of the band wanted to do something new. With new lyrics and songs in Swedish new riffs they created a new sound. The joy of playing came back. The world of Burning was born and the band name was chosen from one of the lines of the first song which was written.

The first gig was Världen Brinner at home in Västerås together with the Swedish punk band The Happy Friends. The nervousness was palpable before a sold-out first gig. The reactions to however, the songs and how the band was received by the audience were absolutely fantastic and the band understood then and there that they were on to something. That there were many more who liked what they did. 

Världen Brinner has since the beginning been a band where a lot happens. The band quickly became a household name count within the Swedish punk scene. Especially through their live performances, which leave one, to say the least imprint on most of them.
