Creating music has never been a want, but always a need, for 21-year-old Tilda Bergkvist - famously known as T & the Rex. Her lyrics revolve around large emotions and reflections about our contemporary world. By turning her mundane experiences into abstract illustrations, T & the Rex creates music that is meant for the listener to experience and interpret.

Songwriting has always been Tilda’s way to handle her emotional tornados, and in her early teens she wrote music every day. Growing up in Oskarshamn, Tilda wanted to capture the unfiltered narrative of a young girl from small town Sweden. Over the past three years, her album has been “One of this year’s best Swedish albums”, she has performed at festivals as ‘The Great Escape’, ‘Live at Heart’, and ‘Stockholm Pride’
